Meet MatrixMate, our new connectable wire‑aligning guide built specifically for seed pixel matrices. If you’re tired of fighting wire twist, inconsistent orientation, or sagging runs, this is the tool that finally brings order to the chaos.
MatrixMate snaps together in 1" increments all the way up to 12", giving you the flexibility to build exactly what your layout needs. Each piece includes a dedicated wire channel that lets you slide your seed pixel wire into place, then lock it down with a zip tie for a rock‑solid, no‑twist connection.
These work best with the seed pixels from Your Pixel Store, but they were intentionally designed to be fully compatible with every seed pixel on the market today — including the thicker 18 AWG wire versions.
For the cleanest, most consistent results, we recommend placing a MatrixMate along the top just after the first seed pixel, another somewhere in the middle, and one at the bottom just before the last pixel. This keeps your entire run straight, stable, and perfectly oriented from end to end. For very tall matrices, several points across the middle may be needed around every 24"-36" apart.

Recommended Printer Settings:
These are the minimum print settings that we recommend you use
- PETG or ABS
- At least 25% infill (honeycomb for strength)
- We used a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height
- At least 1mm wall thickness
- 4 walls
- 6 Top and Bottom layers
- These can be printed without supports
- Ensure that your printer is calibrated correctly, here is a Thingiverse file that we recommend to help calibrate your printer
